SIR went ROUGE at Double Whammy!, welcoming Paris queer techno powerhouse BEN MANSON back to Tāmaki alongside Concussion, MBVR and Late To The Party, with Miami Wine Cooler and Ryan Borne in Public Bar.

For those whose Friday night had unfinished business: GOOEY returned to UBQ, Fitzroy, on Saturday 26 September 2026 for an AFL Grand Final weekend queer techno afterparty, with Lisa May, X& and MBVR on the bill.

SIR, the club night where you can feel SHAMELESS, INTIMATE, and RESPECTED, is bringing it back to its early morning roots in Naarm!

SIR presents GOOEY 💦🫟🫦

SIR presents GOOEY is a sex-positive afterparty for LGBTQIA+ communities, allies and friends to enjoy with designated play areas and a thick pour of techno to keep your long weekend moving.

Maybe you’re a gooey fluid girl or just someone who loves to get hot and sweaty. Gooey is that beautiful moment when night blurs into day and bodies meld into one.

Important:

• This is an after hours event starting at 7am on Sat Jun 6th.

• This is a sexual event with strict conduct rules: make sure to read in full below.

• All genders and sexualities are welcome.

• Nudity and sexual activity are only permitted in designated areas.

• The venue capacity is strictly limited and SIR is expected to sell out. Door sales subject to availability on the night. Make sure you grab your ticket online early while they last to avoid disappointment.

SIR – the club night where you can feel SHAMELESS, INTIMATE, and RESPECTED – is finally back to plug you in and power you up ⚡

Having just made a splash across the pond in Melbourne, SIR is roaring back home to Tāmaki Makaurau for our first party here since late 2025.

On Friday 1 May 2026, we return to Double Whammy! with something a little different.

This time, we’re not just getting DJs to play sets. We’re running a Relay.

RELAY means each DJ overlaps with the one before and after them, passing the music along in sequence and keeping the night in constant motion. No hard resets. No flat spots. Just a seamless flow of energy, genres, and BPM from start to finish.
